Are you ready to rock, girls and ghouls? Ghost just announced their biggest headlining tour ever, with 55+ dates planned for 2025. Along with stops in Europe and Mexico, the US leg of this Ghost tour will kick off on July 9th in Baltimore, MD, continuing through August 16th in Houston, TX.
These dates will arrive almost two years after Ghost wrapped up the RE-IMPERATOUR trek in 2023. And while we’ve had a scary good time reliving those two sold-out nights at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, captured in the band’s debut feature film, RITE HERE RITE NOW, it’s also time for Papa Emeritus IV and Co. to rematerialize on a stage near you. With more smoke, spirits, spooky backdrops and otherworldly hard rock sounds than you could even imagine.
A Ghost concert isn’t your typical rock show — it’s a spiritual experience that taps into your mind, body, soul and all the senses that accompany them. Many of their shows even make you lock your phones away, so you get the full Ghost experience! From their cathedral-like stage setup to the one-of-a-kind showmanship from singer Tobias Forge, Ghost takes shock rock to the next level.
But here’s the thing…their music isn’t exactly what you’d expect based on appearance alone. Ghost is hardly a band of death metal vixens, but rather a melting pot of genres that includes pop, progressive rock, and even the occasional dance number. You can pump your fists one moment before grooving the next, which is further proof of the band’s versatility, talent, and grand dynamics since forming in Sweden back in 2006.
While they’ve taken a break from the stage in 2024, they’re coming back with a bang in the new year. Expect to hear semi-new tunes from their fifth and latest album, 2022’s Impera, plus classics like “Square Hammer,” “Life Eternal,” “He Is” and more. It’s time to get into a Ghost state of mind! Tickets for this trek go on sale during Halloween weekend, beginning on Friday, November 1.
